Passion

Curiosity outside the canvas.

Design is only one part of how I think. The things I read, explore, practice, and observe outside design influence the way I approach problems.

01

Learning & Reading

Exploring psychology, design, human behavior, technology, and new ideas keeps me curious and continuously learning.

What it says about me
I would rather understand a system than memorise a shortcut.
How it improves my design thinking
Reading behavioural psychology sharpens how I frame problems, write research questions, and question my own assumptions before designing.
Most of my design decisions start as a note I wrote down weeks earlier while reading something unrelated.

Travel & Exploration

Travel makes me more observant. New environments, people, cultures, and experiences constantly change the way I see problems and possibilities.

What it says about me
I am comfortable being a beginner in unfamiliar contexts.
How it improves my design thinking
Being an outsider trains observation. It is the same muscle I use in user interviews and shadowing sessions — noticing what people actually do, not what they say.
New places reset my defaults, and defaults are exactly what a designer should keep questioning.

Sports & Sketching

Sports teach me discipline and consistency, while sketching gives me a simple way to think visually and explore ideas without constraints.

What it says about me
I show up consistently and I think with my hands.
How it improves my design thinking
Sport builds the discipline to iterate past the first idea; sketching lets me explore twenty flows cheaply before a single pixel becomes precious.
For me, sketching is more than drawing; it’s a way to observe, explore, and turn ideas into something tangible.
